WHITESBURG, Ky.(WYMT)- Operation UNITE and HITDA joined forces to finance a medication drop box in Letcher County.
There are two drop box locations; one at the sheriff's department in Whitesburg and one at city hall in Jenkins. Sheriff Danny Webb says this will give folks a place to get rid their old medication in a safe way.
Other drop boxes have recently been set up in counties across the region.
