CHARLOTTE, Nc. (WYMT) - Senator Rand Paul's son is facing a new charge this morning in connection with his arrest earlier this month.
The Charlotte Observer is reporting 19 year old William Paul was charged with several charges, including underage drinking, after landing at the Charlotte Airport on January 5th.
We are now finding out he was also charged with assaulting a flight attendant on the same day.
The paper reports it is not clear why the charge was not reported with the original arrest citation.
