WASHINGTON, D.C. (WYMT) - A new report shows the number of unemployed young adults who are not in school has skyrocketed in the past 10 years.
Research shows the reasons for this are increased competition from older workers and not preparing for college.
In Kentucky, the number of young adults ages 20 to 24 who are not in school and not working grew by 88 percent in the last 10 years.
