Kentucky's new lieutenant governor says he will be busy and off to a fast start.

Lieutenant Governor Jerry Abramson says he will use his experience as Louisville Mayor to focus on several areas including economic development and getting the state's economy moving.

"Whether it was bringing in UPS or getting companies to talk about their needs I think the experience I had there can help the Commonwealth,” Lt. Governor Jerry Abramson said.

Abramson is replaced Hazard native Daniel Mongiardo as Lt. Governor.
