A new business in Floyd County is bringing jobs and new vehicles to the area.
A ribbon cutting ceremony today at Freedom Ford Freedom Honda celebrated the opening of the new business.
It is located off Highway 23 in the Ivel community.
36 people have already been employed and the company is looking to hire more technicians and sales associates while giving back to the community.
"We are looking forward to making it grow hopefully helping the area grow. Like I said, the people we've met, it's been tremendous. We have enjoyed being here, and it's something we look forward to being here for a long time," said Shane Legg, the general manager.
The building has been under construction for the last eight months.
