New court date set for superintendent

A new court date is set for a Breathitt County School Official who was arraigned in federal court on Monday.

Superintendent Arch Turner pleaded not guilty to federal charges of conspiring to buy votes, obstructing justice, and lying to a federal agent.

In the meantime, Turner has been released on terms which state he can not violate any law and must notify the court of any changes in his residence or telephone number.

Turner will be back in court on March 14th.
He was indicted and arrested last week.
