A new business in Floyd County is bringing jobs and new vehicles to the area.
A ribbon cutting ceremony was held at Freedom Ford-Freedom Honda to celebrate the opening of the new business.
It is located off Highway 23 in the Ivel community.
36 people have already been employed and the company is looking to hire more technicians and sales associates.
“We are looking forward to making it grow hopefully helping the area grow. Like I said, the people we've met have been tremendous. We have enjoyed being here and it's something we look forward to being here for a long time,” General Manager Shane Legg said.
The building has been under construction for the last eight months.
