No charges will be filed in fatal crash

HARLAN, Ky. (WYMT) - Police say no charges will be filed in a crash that killed a Harlan County woman.

Police say the crash that happened on South Highway 421 at Cranks just before seven Sunday night, appears to be an accident.

State police say 55 year old Robert Blanton of Cawood lost control of the car he was driving and hit a concrete barrier.

His passenger, 49 year old Mary Helton of Cawood was killed.

Blanton was sent to Harlan ARH.
