There are still no suspects in a weekend convenience store holdup in Corbin. Corbin Police said you may be able to help them catch the man behind the heist.

The man who robbed the store got away with some cash, but police are not saying how much.

"He was probably sitting in the parking lot waiting and watching," said Rob Jones with Corbin Police.

The Circle K on Gordon Hill is located in a residential area. And the store is quite busy.

"It's so busy; we know he had to have watched the business for a little while to find a lull in the traffic to get in there," said Jones.

Corbin Police are looking for the man who entered the store just before 10:30 Saturday night.

"He's a white man wearing a black hoodie and ski mask," said Jones.

The suspect threatened the clerks at gunpoint and had them open the cash drawer. He was out the door in just two minutes.

"Pretty quiet around here pretty much all the time," said Ellis Taylor, a Corbin resident.

The crime hits way too close to home for neighbors like Taylor. He lives just a stone's throw away from the store that he said is always busy.

"They're in and out of there all the time. It's hard to get in there and get gas or anything," said Taylor.

Police believe a passer-by may have seen the suspect run off, escaping from a crime that's left neighbors uneasy.

"The one time that he is there, and nobody else was in there I guess," said Taylor.

If you have any information that could help Corbin Police track down the man who robbed the store, you're asked to call them at (606) 528-1122.

A clerk at the Circle K store told Mountain News the manager was unavailable for comment.

Nobody was hurt in the robbery.
