Officer Bryan Durman honored at memorial services

A central Kentucky police officer killed in the line of duty last year was honored during two ceremonies Monday.

Names of police officers killed last year in Kentucky were added to the Kentucky Law Enforcement Memorial at Eastern Kentucky University's Department of Criminal Justice Training in Richmond.

That includes Lexington Police Officer Bryan Durman, who was killed by a hit-and-run driver in April 2010.

All officers who died last year in Kentucky were also honored Monday afternoon in another ceremony.

This one was at the Kentucky History Center in Frankfort at the Fraternal Order of Police Memorial Service.
