CINCINNATI (AP) - The fire department in Cincinnati says 13 people have been taken to hospitals with minor injuries from a partial collapse at a casino under construction.
Fire department spokeswoman Jennifer Spieser (SPY-'zur) says it's not clear what collapsed Friday morning at the casino site downtown.
The casino is being developed by Rock Gaming in partnership with Caesar's Entertainment. A spokeswoman for the developers says they're assessing the situation.
Messer Construction Co. of Cincinnati says it's trying to determine what happened.
Roads around the casino have been closed by police.
A partial collapse of a garage at another Ohio casino under construction occurred last month. That casino in Cleveland also is being developed by the Rock Gaming-Caesar's partnership. No one was injured in that collapse.
