Officials: City of Corbin brought in thousands in alcohol tax revenue in June

Officials in Corbin say packaged alcohol sales are already paying dividends.

The Corbin News Journal reports in June, the first month retailers were allowed to sell booze in bulk, the city brought in more than $22,000 in tax revenue.

Officials say when you factor in total sales, vendors made more than $560,000 dollars on beer alone in June.
