Officials say SEKRI plant in Barbourville closing

BARBOURVILLE, Ky. (WYMT) - The Southeastern Kentucky Rehabilitation Industries (SEKRI) plant in Barbourville is closing.

Company officials tell us they are closing it for financial reasons.

However, no employees are expected to lose their job. The company offered all 20 employees jobs at the Corbin facility and officials say all 20 accepted the transfer to Corbin.
