Severe weather looks likely on Saturday afternoon. The best chances appear to be between 2 p.m. Saturday and Midnight. Damaging winds, large hail, heavy rain, and an isolated tornado or two are possible. The area at the greatest risk for severe weather in eastern Kentucky is in the Cumberland Valley, near the I-75 corridor. Keep it locked here for updates.
The investigation is underway into a fire at an apartment building in Logan County, West Virginia.
Officials say the fire started about five Thursday afternoon on Stratton Street in Logan.
Everyone in the building, which has eight apartments, was able to get out safely.
Some firefighters suffered minor injuries while fighting the fire.
No word on what started the blaze.
