WISE COUNTY, Va. (WYMT/WJHL) - Industry officials in Wise County, Virginia have moved forward with plans to restore the historic Inn at Wise and transform it into a regional tourism and business destination.
The Industrial Development Authority voted unanimously to approve a contract worth more than nine million dollars with a Big Stone Gap company.
The plan calls for restoration of the building and the addition for a hotel, restaurant and conference center.
Construction is set to begin within two months.
