LESLIE COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - One person is dead after an accident on Highway 421 in Leslie County.
It happened a little before 9 p.m. just South of Hyden.
The coroner said a man was killed in the accident involving a car and pick-up truck.
Police say two others were flown to a hospital in Tennessee.
No names have been released.
Officials said the roadway is expected to be closed until at least midnight as police reconstruct the crash.
Officials from Kentucky State Police, Leslie County Sheriff's Department, Hyden and Stinnett Volunteer Fire Departments assisted in the crash.
