One killed in overnight crash in Boyd County

BOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT/WSAZ) - Officials with the Cannonsburg Fire Department say one person has died following a single car rollover on Interstate 64.

It happened about midnight Friday morning close to the 187 mile marker near Cannonsburg. The car rolled off the side of the road and ended up on its top.

Firefighters say no one else was in the car.

The cause of the crash is unclear. No names have been released.

Both eastbound lanes of I-64 are open.
