WHITLEY CITY, Ky. (WYMT) - At least one person is dead after a violent crash in southern Kentucky.
It happened at mile marker one on U.S. 27 in Whitley City near the state line.
Kentucky State Police say a vehicle crossed the center line around 10am and hit a log truck head-on.
Dispatchers say they last heard both the north and southbound lanes are still closed at this hour.
