WYMT Severe Weather Alert

More storms are firing up off to our west and will be moving in our general direction. Most should be below the severe threshold, but some could bring some strong wind and hail. We will be monitoring the system throughout the night and will update you as needed.

One person injured in Wayne County, WV crash

KENOVA, Wv. (WYMT/WSAZ) - One person is recovering this morning following a weekend crash on Interstate 64 in Wayne County, West Virginia.

It happened early Saturday morning near Kenova.

Dispatchers say one car was on its side and one person was taken to the hospital.

We do not know what caused the crash or the condition of the victim.
