Knott County, Kentucky - Several officers responded to the remains of a meth lab found in Knott County.
Officials say the meth lab was found in Jamestown Village a little before two Tuesday afternoon.
Kentucky State Police, the Knott County Sheriff's Department, and a Drug Task Force responded to a complaint and found a one-step lab, as well as ingredients to make meth.
Officers believe someone threw those items out of a car window.
Knott County Sheriff Dale Richardson says, "It was in a bag, some ingredients, lithium batteries, some lighter fluid, it had a cold pack. These ingredients are definitely used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine."
Police do believe they know who did this and are seeking a warrant for their arrest.
