Severe weather looks likely on Saturday afternoon. The best chances appear to be between 2 p.m. Saturday and Midnight. Damaging winds, large hail, heavy rain, and an isolated tornado or two are possible. The area at the greatest risk for severe weather in eastern Kentucky is in the Cumberland Valley, near the I-75 corridor. Keep it locked here for updates.
We have more information on the woman who died in a Wayne County crash a little after 1:30pm Tuesday.
The Wayne County Coroner says Louanne Ellis, 57 years old, of Somerset was pronounced dead at the scene.
Three cars were involved in the accident.
Police say three people were flown to UK Hospital in Lexington and all are listed in critical condition.
Alcohol and drugs are not believed to have caused the accident.
