One man is dead, and another is in jail, following a crash in Perry County early Friday morning.
The accident happened around 5:15 a.m. on Highway 15 in the Bonnyman community.
Police say a car, driven by 20-year-old Eric J. Ison of Hazard, ran off the road, struck a guardrail, overcorrected, then hit a passenger car heading in the opposite direction.
Police say the driver of the second car, 68-year-old Bobby D. Napier of Lost Creek in Breathitt County, died at the scene.
Ison was taken to a hospital, where he was treated and released.
Police then arrested him, and charged him with murder and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs.
Ison was lodged in the Kentucky River Regional Detention Center.
