Escapee Jimmy Martin was captured on Gum Branch Road north of Manchester in Clay County just before midnight last night.
Martin escaped from work release on Tuesday at noon.
Laurel County Correctional Facility Inmate Martin was found hiding in a mobile home.
When located, inmate Martin fled out of a rear window of the mobile home but was captured after a short foot pursuit without incident.
Inmate Martin was taken into custody by Clay County Sheriff Kevin Johnson along with his deputies and Laurel County Corrections Jailer Jamie Mosley along with his deputies.
Inmate Martin was then transported back to the Laurel County Correctional Facility in London.
He will be charged with Escape by Kentucky State Police.
However, inmate Mark Turner has not been captured and remains at large.
