The flood waters are beginning to slowly recede across most of Eastern Kentucky and the snow showers are coming to an end. Roads will remain slick tonight as temperatures drop below zero. A crash in Pike County leaves one person dead and two others recovering.
Police say 35 year old Mark Scott was a passenger in a car that ran into the back of a coal truck Thursday night along U.S. 119 near Pike Central High School.
Scott was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two others in the vehicle, William and Crystal Akers, were taken to Pikeville Medical Center.
Their conditions are unknown.
