RICHMOND, Ky. (WKYT) - EKU students, alumni, and community members gave their input on what the university should look for in its next president.

The consulting firm hired by the EKU Board of Regents held an open forum at Posey Auditorium Monday night.

The audience discussed topics like university stability, campus diversity, university-wide fundraising, and the retention and recruitment of students.

Another open forum will be held Tuesday night at EKU's Corbin campus.

Current EKU President Doug Whitlock plans to retire in July.
