HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) - One local church loaded up their shoe boxes to send to needy children overseas.
Operation Christmas Child is wrapping up across the nation.
Shoe boxes full of gifts were dropped off at New Hope Church in Perry County Monday.
They were then loaded onto a U-Haul to send to a distribution center.
The total count for boxes donated is at 1,600.
