FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) - Republican Todd P'Pool will get some help
from a neighboring state in his race for attorney general in
Kentucky.
Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli will be campaigning
with P'Pool in Kentucky next month.
P'Pool is challenging Kentucky's incumbent Attorney General Jack
Conway in the Nov. 8 general election.
Cuccinelli is one of a group of Republican attorneys general who
filed legal challenges to try to halt federal health care reforms
from taking effect. P'Pool has made his opposition to the health
care reforms a central part of his campaign.
P'Pool campaign manager David Ray said Cuccinelli and other
conservative leaders across the nation recognize the importance of
Kentucky's race for attorney general.
