P'Pool using unflattering photo of President Obama

FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) - Republican attorney general candidate Todd
P'Pool is using an especially unflattering photo of President
Barack Obama in his latest television ad.
P'Pool has largely built his campaign on criticism of Obama,
referencing him in stump speeches and TV spots in the race against
Democratic Attorney General Jack Conway.
The latest ad, scheduled to begin airing on cable television
stations on Friday, shows Obama with an exaggerated frown while a
narrator accuses him of destroying America. Next is a photo of
Conway with the narrator saying he has done nothing to stop Obama
in Kentucky.
Using unflattering photos of political opponents for campaign
fodder is nothing new to politics. But rarely has the sitting
president been specifically targeted as an opponent in a race for
Kentucky attorney general.
