HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) - Two people involved in a bizarre Perry County theft case will spend several years behind bars.
The Hazard Herald reports Christianne Clemons and Hiram Noble pleaded guilty last month in the case.
Police say the pair and two others stole 17-thousand dollars from UBet.
Clemons, a UBet employee, told police she was the victim of a carjacking on her way to take the money from UBet to the bank.
She later confessed to being part of the scheme.
Clemons will spend six years in prison while Noble will serve five.
