LONDON, Ky. (WYMT) - The mother of a Laurel County High School student has filed a complaint against a teacher.

The Lexington Herald reports teacher Kendra Baker wrote "You can't be a democrat and go to heaven" on her classroom whiteboard.

Mary Gilbert says it happened in her daughter's psychology class at South Laurel High School the week after the November 6th election.

The complaint was filed against Baker with the State Education Professional Standards Board.
