Parents are charged with endangering the welfare of a minor

Two parents in Martin County are charged after police say their children were left alone in a hot car while they went to a pawn shop.

Jason Daniels and Laura Harmon are charged with endangering the welfare of a minor.

On Tuesday, sheriff's deputies say they found a baby and two young children in the hot car in the Evans Pawn Shop parking lot.

The two young boys had poured water on the two month old baby to cool her off.

Deputies say the children were put in social services care.
