Pedestrain hit, killed on busy Ky. highway

MCCREARY CO. (WKYT) - One person is dead after being hit by a car on a busy Kentucky highway.

Police say 18-year-old Seth Tucker was heading north on US 27, just south of KY 700 near Whitley City in McCreary county, when 23-year-old Heather Canada walked out in front of his car.

Canada was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say they do not believe alcohol or drugs were involved in the crash.
