Officials at the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center say people have been sneaking drugs in through pictures.

Officials say people are pealing the backs off pictures, taping or gluing suboxone strips to them, and gluing the pictures back together.

They say they discovered the drug pictures through inmate phone calls.

"This is an ongoing process. Once we determine something like this, that this is how their doing it, probably, they're successful at this and they're working on something while this is going on," said Intelligence Officer Byron Hansford.

They do plan to charge some people with promoting contraband, but they are not releasing names at this time.
