11:30pm Update (7-19-13):
We have an update to a story we told you about earlier.
One person was killed and another injured in a wreck Friday afternoon in Perry County.
The crash happened around 2:30pm on the bypass of Highway 15 near Save-A-Lot in Hazard. Deborah Justice, 57, died on the way to the hospital.
The accident happened at a new intersection that police say many driver are probably not used to.
"Just be mindful of the intersection...just remember there's a traffic signal there at that intersection now. And where it's new some people might not know about it...and just be mindful of your surroundings and watch the other person." Jason Duff with the Hazard Police Department told us.
One man was taken to Hazard ARH with less serious injuries.
Original story 4pm (7-19-13):
A wreck in Perry County Friday afternoon sent at least one person to the hospital.
The crash happened around 2:30 at an intersection on Highway 15 near Save-A-Lot in Hazard.
At least one person was taken away by ambulance.
The accident involved a car and a pickup truck.
The road was shut down for more than 30 minutes while police reconstructed the crash.
We do not know how many people were involved or the extent of their injuries.
