Police say a man tried to rob a Perry County business Thursday night but left empty-handed after employees scared him off!

State Police in Hazard say a man with a gun walked into the Jiffy Cash near Hazard and demanded money.

But instead of giving the robber money, one person inside the store demanded that he leave and he did!

Police say they are glad nothing was stolen but it can be risky to confront someone with a gun.

Police are still looking for the suspect who is described as a shorter man with a stocky build.

He was last seen wearing a dark green sweatshirt.
