Person of interest in Johnson County missing couple case arrested on other charges

PAINTSVILLE, Ky. (WYMT) - Police call him a person of interest in the disappearance of his parents.

Now, a Johnson County man is behind bars, accused of trying to fill their prescriptions at a local pharmacy.

Larry and Sandara Blanton went missing several weeks ago.

Their son, Willie Blanton, has told us in past interviews he does not know where his parents are.

His girlfriend, Amanda Fannin, who is also a person of interest in the disappearance, was also arrested recently on drug related charges.

They are both being held in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center.
