Kentucky State Police received a call of an armed robbery at Howard Family Pharmacy in the Eastern community of Floyd County on Thursday March 8, 2012.
Information obtained at the scene indicates that at approximately 3:12 am, four males wearing masks approached the night security officer outside of the Howard Pharmacy. One of males brandished a weapon. Entry was forced into the pharmacy, and an undisclosed quantity of prescription narcotics were taken.
Three of the males were described as following: 5'10" tall / 220 pounds; 5'9'' tall / 190 pounds; and 5'7" tall / 150 pounds. The four males were seen leaving the scene in a late 1990's or early 2000's black Chevrolet Silverado extended cab pickup. No one was injured in the robbery.
