Pike County bank robbery case goes to grand jury

The case of a Pike County woman accused of robbing a bank will go to the grand jury.

Police say the weekend before Christmas, Claresa Marcum robbed one thousand dollars from the Community Trust bank in South Williamson.

She is also wanted in West Virginia for attempted robbery and assault of an elderly person.

Marcum waived extradition on Wednesday.

She is being held in Pike County on a 30-thousand dollar bond.

If she posts bond, she will be turned over to the West VIrginia authorities.
