Phelps Elementary School will be back open Wednesday after being closed because of water problems.

Officials say heavy rains over the weekend caused drainage issues.

Some water got into the school's basement, and sinks were not draining properly.

Officials closed the school Monday and Tuesday so maintenance crews could clear the drains.

The drinking water was not affected.
