Pikeville business raises thousands for breast cancer awareness

PIKEVILLE, Ky. (WYMT) - A Pikeville business raised several thousand dollars for breast cancer awareness.

Walters Toyota-Nissan presented a check for $10,000 to the Susan G. Komen breast cancer foundation Tuesday.
.
They say they took $50 from every car sold until they reached $5,000 and the Toyota corporation matched their donation.

"This $10,000 donation from them is going to help provide wigs and mammograms, and I just want you to know how many people this is going to impact," said Jennifer Bricking with Susan G. Komen.

The company says they plan to do the fundraiser again next year.
