The Federal Aviation Administration says a small plane crashed into the back side of a two-story inn in Kentucky near a popular state park.
The Grayson County Sheriff's department said the plane went down around 1:45 p.m. and had caught fire. The plane hit the Tree Inn near the Rough River Dam State Resort Park.
The pilot of the plane, whose name has not been released, died on impact. A woman at the inn was treated for minor injuries.
A small airport is located near the Inn and it is suspected that the pilot was trying to land when he crashed.
The damage was limited to only the back of the Inn near the pool.
