Police arrest a man for allegedly burglarizing convenience store

PHELPS, Ky. (WYMT) - Cartons of cigarettes, jewelry and firearms were all allegedly stolen from a Pike County convenience store.

Pike County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a burglary complaint around 3am Monday morning at "Phelps One Stop."

The shop owner told police the burglar had broken the shop's glass door and stole several items.

It only took police a few hours to arrest Barry McClannahan of Phelps and recover most of the stolen items.
