BOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) Four people are behind bars after a meth lab bust in Boyd County.

Police say they received a tip about a meth lab on Ike Patton Road in Summit, and when they got to the home on Friday, the homeowner invited deputies inside and told them there was a meth lab cooking that could explode.

Police found an active meth lab and morphine tablets, along with two old meth labs in a dumpster outside.

Doug Menshouse, Brent Johnson, Derrick Caudill, and Angela Bailey are charged with manufacturing meth, unlawful possession of meth precursors, and trafficking controlled substance.
