Police believe man was injured in meth lab explosion

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT)- A man is Laurel County is recovering after being injured in what police believe was a meth explosion.

Deputies say the man told them that people had thrown liquid fire into his face on Kentucky 80 Saturday night. But deputies say the man's story couldn't be confirmed in anyway.

He was transported to a London hospital where doctors say his injuries were consistent with a meth lab explosion.
