MINGO COUNTY, W.Va. (WYMT/WSAZ) - The Mingo County Sheriff's Office is asking for your help in tracking down two men wanted for home invasions.
Chief Deputy James Smith says on Friday, Dec. 7, Danny Colegrove Jr. and James Cecil Messer broke into a home in Marrowbone Creek and stole four guns.
Smith says after that, the suspects took the stolen guns and broke into a home on Laurel Creek where they bound three people with duct tape and held one of them at gunpoint -- until he gave the two men the combination for the safe.
Jewelry, knives and medicine were stolen from the safe, with a value of nearly $4,300.
Smith says the men face 10 felony counts that include conspiracy, burglary, grand larceny, first-degree robbery and kidnapping.
He says both men are out on parole for similar charges in the past.
