Police investigating a rash of thefts, vandalism in Laurel Co.

LAUREL CO. (WKYT) - Police in Laurel county are investigating a rash of thefts and vandalism from over the weekend.

Police say thieves broke into several parked cars and damaged vending machines late Sunday night, at the Green Roof Business just north of London.

Investigators say a surveillance camera caught a couple of the suspects and their getaway car on camera. The car is described as a white mini van. As for the thieves themselves, investigators say at least one appeared to have a bow tie shirt on, another had a tattoo on the back of his neck, and a third is described as heavy set.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Laurel County Sheriff's office at 606-846-6600.
