MINGO COUNTY, W.Va. (WYMT/WSAZ) - Investigators are on the scene of an apparent murder-suicide.
Police were called to a home on 12th Pole Creek Road in the Dingess area of Mingo County just after 10 p.m. Sunday.
Investigators say they found a husband and wife shot dead inside. It is still unclear what may have sparked the shootings.
Emergency workers say there were kids inside the home at the time of the shootings.
Neighbors describe hearing yelling and screaming before the shots rang out.
