Police make arrest in 2008 Knox County theft case

GRAY, Ky. (WYMT) - A Knox County man is behind bars following the discovery of a piece of equipment that went missing from a construction company in 2008.

Deputies in Knox County got a tip the piece of equipment, stolen from a company working on Girdler Elementary School four years ago was at a house on Garland Cemetery Road in Gray.

When the officers got to the home, they found the VIN plates to the machine had been switched with another.

The suspect is facing several charges.
