Police say burglary suspect tried to use taxi as a get away car

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT)- A burglary suspect police say tried to use a taxi to get away was not able to get very far.

The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office charged Bradley Hill, 28, with burglary and theft.

Deputies say Hill broke into his estranged wife’s home on Moriah Church Road and stole money and a computer.

They say Hill then had a taxi pick him up nearby.

So deputies say they called the taxi company, who had the driver pull over, and wait for deputies to arrive so they could arrest Hill.
