Original story:

HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) - A tip about a home break-in Wednesday led to a car chase involving Hazard Police.

Police arrived at CVS on hwy 15 and found 35 year old William Feltner in an argument with the homeowner.

Feltner drove away from the scene, nearly hitting the officers, who responded to the complaint.

Police pursued feltner but stopped due to safety reasons.

Feltner was later spotted at Smitty's Gas Station on Combs Road, where he again ran away from police.

Janet Smith says she was eating dinner at Frances' Diner across the street when she saw it all happen.

“It looked like a young guy got out of the vehicle without putting it in park, and it rolled back into the police cruiser and he ran up the hill,” said Smith.

Two police cruisers were hit during the pursuit. Feltner is still on the run.
